Because we make it the same way early Yankee pioneers made it: We boil down our own fresh Apple Cider and allow the natural pectin in the apples to change it to jelly. Nothing is added. So pleasingly flavorful that we use it as an all-natural base ingredient or sweetener in many of our other products.
